     Stella Mae Klinger was born on 13 February 1903, Klingerstown RD, Schuylkill County, PA.1,2,3 Some sources record that Stella Mae Klinger was born on 13 March 1903. She was baptized on 19 April 1903, St. Michael's Church, Klingerstown, Schuylkill County, PA.1 She married Daniel Emanuel Klinger on 13 July 1918, St. Michael's Church, Klingerstown, Schuylkill County, PA.4 At the time of the 1930 Census, Stella and Daniel were living in Hubley Township, Schuylkill County, with their 2 children, Leon (age 11) and Alvin (age 9). Daniel was working as a coal miner.5 Prior to her death, Stella was living in or near Valley View, Schuylkill County, PA.2 Stella Mae Klinger died on 21 May 1976, Valley View, Schuylkill County, PA, at age 73.6,7,8 She was buried on 24 May 1976, at Zion (Klinger's) Church Cemetery, Erdman, Lykens Township, Dauphin County, PA.9

VALLEY VIEW - Services for Mrs. Stella Mae Klinger, 73, widow of Daniel Klinger, of West Maple Street, were held at Zion's (Klinger's) Church at Erdman on Monday, May 24 [1976]. Rev. Robert Eastlack officiated. Interment was in Klinger's Cemetery.
Mrs. Klinger was bom at RD, Klingerstown February 13, 1903, a daughter of the late William O. and Mabel Klinger Klinger. Her husband died in 1957.
Surviving are two sons, Leon of Sacramento and Alvin of Valley View; a stepson, Marlin of Spring Glen; 11 grandchildren; 18 great­grandchildren; three sisters, Mrs. Lucy Clark, Valley View; Mrs. Luther Brown, Leek Kill; Mrs. Stanley Wolfgang, RD Herndon; five brothers: Homer, of Mount Carmel; Paul and Ralph, both of RD, Klingerstown; Ray of Leck Kill and Guy of Sunbury.
Mrs. Klinger was a member of Zion's Lutheran Church.
Buffington Funeral Home, Valley View, was in charge of arrangements.3

     Daniel Emanuel Klinger was born on 29 September 1899, Northumberland County, PA.1,2 He married Stella Mae Klinger on 13 July 1918, St. Michael's Church, Klingerstown, Schuylkill County, PA.3 At the time of the 1930 Census, Daniel and his wife Stella were living in Hubley Township, Schuylkill County, with their 2 children, Leon (age 11) and Alvin (age 9). Daniel was working as a coal miner.4 Daniel Emanuel Klinger died on 3 March 1956, Good Spring, Schuylkill County, PA, at age 56.2,5 Some sources record that Daniel Emanuel Klinger died on 2 March 1956.6,7 He was buried on 7 March 1956, at Zion (Klinger's) Church Cemetery, Erdman, Dauphin County, PA.8,9

GOOD SPRING HOTELMAN DANIEL KLINGER DIES
Daniel Emanuel Klinger, 56, Good Spring hotel keeper, died suddenly Saturday, 11:30 a. m., at his home. Death was due to a heart condition.
Born in Jackson Twp., Northumberland county, September, 1899, Mr. Klinger was a son of Mrs. Katie Gordon Klinger and the late Elias M. Klinger. He owned and operated a hotel at Sacramento, then at Lykens before moving to Good Spring in 1950.
He was a member of Klinger's Union Church at Erdman and the Moose Lodge of Tower City.
Surviving are his wife, three sons, Leon, Sacramento; Alvin, Valley View, and Marlin, Spring Glen; 14 grandchildren, his mother, six sisters, one brother.
Funeral services were held from the (Buffington Funeral Home, Valley View, Wednesday afternoon with furth[e]r services in Klinger's Church. Dr. D. I. Sultzbach officiated.
