     Priscilla Klinger is also referred to as Prescilla Klinger in some sources. She was born on 2 March 1862.1 She was baptized on 18 May 1862, Zion (Klinger's) Church, Erdman, Lykens Township, Dauphin County, PA; Name given as "Pressila," daughter of "Philip Klinger and w. Filinn."2 She married William David Davis, son of David Davis, circa 1878.3 At the time of the 1910 Census, Prescilla and William were living in Upper Mahantongo Township, Schuylkill County, PA, where William was a farmer. They had been married 31 years and had given birth to 12 children, 9 of whom were then living. Their household included 6 children -- Walter, Belton, Austin, Eva, Carlos, and Lola.3 Mary Klinger notes that Prescilla and William lived on the south side of Klingerstown, PA.1 In 1920, Prescilla and William's household included 3 children Carlos, Lola, Austin, and Austin's wife Hattie.4 Priscilla Klinger died on 28 August 1929, Klingerstown, Schuylkill County, PA, at age 67.5,6 She was buried on 31 August 1929, at Zion (Klinger's) Church Cemetery, Erdman, Lykens Township, Dauphin County, PA.7,6

Mrs. Priscilla Davis
Mrs. Priscilla Davis, 67, a resident of Klingerstown for many years, died at her home Wednesday morning at 8:45, after suffering for one month with dropsy and heart trouble.
She was united in marriage to Mr. William Davis who with nine children, Charles of Tremont; Mrs. Emma Engle, Sunbury; Belton, Rough and Ready; Mrs. Eva Artz. Valley View: Mrs. Lola Artst. Vally View; Albert, Walter, Austin, and Carlos, Klingerstown, survive. Two sisters, Mrs. Sarah Horner ad Mrs. Will Bainbridge of Mt. Carme; one brother, Philip Klinger of Lykens; nineteen gradchilden and six great-grandchildre, also survive.
Funeral services were held Saturday afternoon, August 31, from her late home, Rev. Sultzbaugh, pastor of the Klinger's church of which she was a faithful member, officiating. Burial was made in the cemetery adjoining the church.

     William David Davis was born on 17 January 1856, Dauphin County, PA.1,2 He was the son of David Davis.1 William David Davis married Priscilla Klinger circa 1878.3 At the time of the 1910 Census, Prescilla and William were living in Upper Mahantongo Township, Schuylkill County, PA, where William was a farmer. They had been married 31 years and had given birth to 12 children, 9 of whom were then living. Their household included 6 children -- Walter, Belton, Austin, Eva, Carlos, and Lola.3 William David Davis died on 1 January 1931, Hegns Township, Schuylkill County, PA, at age 74.1 He was buried on 4 January 1931, at Zion (Klinger's) Church Cemetery, Erdman, Lykens Township, Dauphin County, PA.4,1,5
