     Walter J. Sierer is also referred to as Walter Junior Sierer in some sources.2,3 He was born on 28 August 1923, Wiconisco, Dauphin County, PA.1 He died on 14 June 2017, Lykens, Dauphin County, PA, at age 93.1 He was buried on 17 June 2017, at Grandview Cemetery, Pillow, Dauphin County, PA.1

Walter Junior Sierer of Lykens, Pa. passed away Wednesday June 14, 2017 at home. He was born August 28, 1923 at Wiconisco, Pa. to the late Walter and Elizabeth Williams Sierer.
Walter was a Navy Veteran of WWII, a graduate of the former Wiconisco High School Class of 1941, Past Master of Ashlar Lodge 570 F&AM of Lykens, Co-Founder of the former Lykens & Wiconisco Ambulance Association, member of St. Christopher Lutheran Church, Lykens, former member of Liberty Hose Co. No. 2 of Lykens and Life Member of Diamond Jubilee Post 2385 of Gratz, Pa. He enjoyed woodworking and golf and was a loving husband, dad and grandfather.
Walter is survived by his wife of 69 years Mildred L. Wiest Sierer, daughters Beth and husband Dennis Istre, Pam and husband Randy Wilbert, grandchildren Dennis Jr., Adam, Brett and Bryan, Great grandchildren Kayla, Taylor, Emily, Ella, Cody, Liam and Ryan Walter, a brother Robert Sierer and a sister Helen Gunderman.
Graveside services will be held at Grandview Cemetery, Pillow, Pa. Saturday June 17, 2017 at 11:00 A.M. with John Forney officiating. There will be a viewing from 10:00 A.M. to 10:30 A.M. at Walter's home at 622 Main St., Lykens, Pa. John R. Shultz Funeral Home Lykens has been entrusted with the arrangements.
