     Her married name was Kratzer.3 Mae C. E. Deppen was born on 10 May 1924, Hebe, Northumberland County, PA.1,2 She married William M. Kratzer.3

— HEBE — Mae C.E. Kratzer, 88, of Hebe, passed away on Monday, Aug. 27, 2012, while in the company of family members.
Mae was born May 10, 1924, in Hebe, a daughter of the late Lydia J. (Bohner) and Allen S. Deppen. She was married to William Kratzer who preceded her in death.
She was a member of David’s United Church of Christ, Hebe.
Mae is survived by two daughters and one son-in-law, Lana and Robert Forse, of Pennsdale, and Cathy Kratzer Sorrell, of Hebe; one son and daughter-in-law, Randy and Donna Kratzer, of Hebe; six grandchildren, Megan Kratzer, William Forse, Melissa Buck and husband, Michael, Justin Naugle and wife, Lara, Jarrod Naugle and wife, Brandi, and Jordan Naugle; and three great-grandchildren
She was preceded in death by one sister, Mildred Deppen, and two brothers, Ray Deppen Sr. and William Deppen.
The family will receive guests from 10 to 11 a.m. Friday at David’s United Church of Christ, Hebe, followed by the funeral at 11 with the Rev. Raymond Holland officiating.
Interment will be at David’s Church Cemetery, Hebe.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Mae’s memory may be made to David’s United Church of Christ, Herndon, PA 17830.
The James A. Reed Funeral Home, Pillow, is in charge of the arrangements.
