Irvin Thomas Paul was born on 12 September 1940, Fearnot, Schuylkill County, PA.1 He was baptized on 24 August 1945, St. Andrew's United Methodist Church, Valley View, Schuylkill County, PA.1 He was the son of John Jacob Paul and Jean Marceil Strohecker.2 Irvin Thomas Paul married Judith Anne Buffington, daughter of Galen Floyd Buffington Jr. and Erma Gertrude Shutt, on 7 February 1960, Salem Lutheran Church, Elizabethville, Dauphin County, PA.1 Irvin Thomas Paul died on 22 September 2002, Hershey Medical Center, Hershey, Dauphin County, PA, at age 57.1

ELIZABETHVILLE - Irvin T. Paul, 62, of 100 Arch Street, died at the Hershey Medical Center on Sunday.
He was born in Fearnot, September 12, 1940, the son of the John J. and Jean M. (Strohecker) Paul, of Elizabethville.
He was a retired machinist for Reiff and Nestor in Lykens. He had memberships in the Short Mountain Gun Club; Erdman Sportmen Association; Elizabethville VFW #6343; Gratz VFW #2385; Elizabethville American Legion Post #404; and IUE-CWA #135. He was a U.S. Navy Veteran and served aboard the U.S.S. Hornet.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife, Judith A. (Buffington) Paul; two sons, Dennis Paul, Halifax and David Paul, Sr., Elizabethville; two daughters, Diane Gladney, Bastrop, LA and Darcy Reigner, Elizabethville; brother, John Paul, Jr., Mechanicsburg; and grandchildren, David, Michael, Calen, Jarrett and Clarice.
Memorial services will be held on Thursday at Hoover Funeral Home, Inc., Elizabethville at 11 a.m.
Inurnment with Military Honor Guard at Maple Grove Cemetery, Elizabethville. Visitation at the funeral home on Thursday from 10 to 11 a.m.
The family requests memorial donations to the Ned Smith Center for Nature and Art at P.O. Box 33, Millersburg, PA 17061 or Salem Lutheran Church at 205 West Main Street, Elizabethville, PA 17023.
