     Moses William Davis was born on 1 November 1901.1 He was the son of Charles Clinton Davis and Hannah E. Strohecker.1 Moses William Davis was baptized on 23 November 1901, Zion (Klinger's) Church, Erdman, Lykens Township, Dauphin County, PA.1 In 1930, Moses was single and living with his parents on Spring Street in Tremont, Schuylkill County, where he was a carpenter at a coal mine.2 He married Alice E. Schaeffer, daughter of Frank Schaeffer and Elizabeth Fegley.3 Moses William Davis died on 10 February 1980, at age 78.3

Moses W. Davis, Harrisburg, formerly of Tremont, died Sunday.
Mr. Davis lived most of his life in Tremont, and was the son of the late Charles and Hannah Davis.
He was a retired employee of PP&L.
His wife, the former Alice Schaeffer, preceded him in death.
Surviving are one daughter, Marion Morenko, Harrisburg; three sons, Robert, Harrisburg, William, Annville, Richard, Mechanicsburg.
Services will be held Wednesday morning from Neill Funeral Home, Paxton.
